On board the Halunder Jet we are always very happy about our smaller guests. Therefore, it is especially important to us that children also have a lot of fun during a crossing. After the "Halunder Jet" has been explored and the one or other look out of the window, at full speed, has provided enough excitement and activity, we offer "the little ones" a small play corner to linger. There the children will find a selection of books and board games. So, the crossing flies by, leaves no room for boredom and allows our youngest passengers to occupy themselves alone or with other visitors to the children's corner.
Many guests get up early to come on board with us in the morning. So, it is often a nice pastime to lean back with a book. Our selection of children's books ranges from pirate stories to children's detective stories of the three ???, tales of porpoises and sun elves to real bears who are not afraid.
Those who are no longer tired and enjoy playing may prove themselves in parlor games or just "annoy".
Vacation fun on Helgoland
Vacation with the whole family, is that possible on Helgoland? Of course! Helgoland offers many leisure activities for young and old and thus provides unforgettable experiences during the vacations. Parents or grandparents can relax while the children explore the island. They can't run away on the 1 km2 North Sea island and the people of Helgoland always watch out for each other (and vacationers).

Play & fun both on land & in the water
Whether you are a land or water rat, Heligoland has the right thing for every little adventurer. Children can play on the dune on the beach and build sandcastles or romp around the various playgrounds on the island. How about a game of mini golf? Every year from April onwards you can tee off on the dune. Those who prefer to jump on the trampoline, play tennis or watch films will also find what they are looking for on Heligoland: On the main island there is a tennis court and a trampoline. In summer, films are also shown in the open air cinema.
Bad weather? No problem on Heligoland
Should it rain during the holidays, there are still enough activities for children on Heligoland. How about a visit to the cinema in the Nordseehalle? Water rats can not only swim in the sea on Heligoland, there is also a swimming pool with a bubbling geyser, jet stream canal and play area. The various guided tours offered on Heligoland are also exciting: During the bunker tour, the underground passages under Heligoland can be explored. Or you can take a look at the lobster station and the diving centre.

What does the Heligoland Feuerstein actually look like? What is the Lummenfelsen? Which bird species breed only on Heligoland? And what special plant species can only be found here on the island?
